Augusta Prep ranked as one of the nation's top schools

Jay Matthews, whose Challenge Index is featured in The Washington Post and Newsweek, lists Augusta Prep as one of the top schools in the country. Prep checks in at No. 70 in the rankings among all schools in the United States.

It ranks high schools by a simple ratio: the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Cambridge tests given at a school each year, divided by the number of seniors who graduated that year. Schools ranked no. 220 or above are in the top 1 percent of America’s 22,000 high schools, no. 440 or above are in the top 2 percent and so on.

This is the second set of rankings that features Augusta Prep as one of the top schools in America.
In the fall, Augusta Prep received honors as one of Niche.com's 2022 "Best Schools" and as Augusta's best private school with an A+ rating.
