Riordan
Jim Riordan is a retired commercial banker and risk manager having worked for Trust Company (SunTrust) and Georgia Bank & Trust over a 30-year career. He is married to Carol, a retired chemical and environmental engineer. The couple has two children who graduated from Prep in 2022: Amy - a junior biology major at South Carolina & D1 swimmer, and Jimmy - a junior mechanical engineering major at Florida State. Both kids are quick to point out that Prep “really prepared us for college academics and life!”
The Riordans are active in the community with Jim serving on the local board of the American Red Cross for the past 10 years and both having assisted Aiken-Augusta Swim League, serving as treasurer and team administrator.

Augusta Preparatory Day School
Augusta Preparatory Day School is an independent, college preparatory school serving children ages 2 through Grade 12 from the greater Augusta-Aiken area. Augusta Prep seeks to enroll a group of diverse students. We follow an open admission policy, whereby qualified candidates are admitted without regard to religion, race, nationality, economic background, or ethnic origin.
