International Students

Education thrives on diversity

Augusta Prep is located in beautiful Augusta, Georgia, just a two hour drive to the east of Atlanta. The school has welcomed international students for more than 30 years. Our small classes, close-knit community, and opportunities for leadership and involvement make it an ideal private school for the college-bound student whose native language is not English. We believe that having diverse cultures represented on our campus and in our classrooms enriches the education of the entire Augusta Prep community.

International students are warmly welcomed, connecting with their teachers and making friends.

Augusta Prep is proud to partner with New Oasis International Education for interested international applicants. New Oasis will assist during the application process, provide homestay placement if needed, and offer general support.

For additional questions, please contact admissions@augustaprep.org  or 706-434-2504, or inquire with New Oasis here: https://www.tbinewoasis.com/student

International Students are supported at Augusta Prep in a variety of ways:
  • Small classes and a nurturing school community offer students a supportive and stimulating environment in which to further their general education while expanding their skills in English.
  • Advisors and School Administrators will work closely with each student and family to develop a course of study based on the student’s abilities and academic goals. Students are placed in mainstream college preparatory classes in most content areas.
  • Prep is a SEVIS school and is able to issue F1 I-20 forms, if needed.
  • All international students are invited to participate in sports, clubs, and events both on and off campus throughout the school year.
  • For students pursuing admission to an American university, college counseling and information regarding the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) are available.
