College Counseling

Students in Augusta, Georgia need individualized
College Counseling, which is why Augusta Prep has a low counselor-to-student ratio. We get to know your student and guide them through the college search process.

Selecting a college that suits a student’s academic, professional, and personal needs is an important decision. It requires conscientious research, critical thought, and considerable planning, involving both students and parents. There are many options, more than 4,000 actually, and students who are actively engaged in the College Counseling Program at Augusta Prep find the process to be both intriguing and fulfilling.

Augusta Prep has a 100 percent graduation rate, our students going on to attend some of the most prestigious colleges and universities across the United States. Our acceptance rates to popular in-state schools such as Georgia, Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Clemson are typically much higher than their average acceptance rates.  While there are always moments of stress in applying to college, Augusta Prep students learn to manage the process through research, planning, and personal guidance.

The College Counseling Office at Augusta Prep gives personal attention to each student navigating this exciting process. It’s one of the hallmarks of an excellent Augusta, Ga. private school – to provide that personal attention that’s required to make the most informed decision possible.  Please explore our College Counseling calendar, twitter feed, and grade level programming to understand more about our engagement with our students, faculty, and college admission offices.

Please know that we are always available in the College Counseling Office to assist you and answer your questions. We encourage you to call, stop by, or email us any time at jonathan.stroud@augustaprep.org
