Vargas
Dr. Katie Vargas is the founder and CEO of Riverfront Dental Care, a multispecialty dental practice in North Augusta, SC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Princeton University and a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. She completed her education with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Vargas is involved in several business groups in the CSRA area, and is a proud supporter of veterans and veteran-owned businesses. She is married to Dr. Anthony Vargas, former US Army Major and current Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the Dental College of Georgia. They are proud Augusta Prep parents of two children since 2018.

Augusta Preparatory Day School
Augusta Preparatory Day School is an independent, college preparatory school serving children ages 2 through Grade 12 from the greater Augusta-Aiken area. Augusta Prep seeks to enroll a group of diverse students. We follow an open admission policy, whereby qualified candidates are admitted without regard to religion, race, nationality, economic background, or ethnic origin.
