Interscholastic athletics, offered to students in grades 5 through 12, are an important part of the educational program at Augusta Prep.
At the varsity level, Augusta Prep is a member of the Georgia Independent Athletic Association and District 2-AAA where we compete in 19 varsity sports, to include baseball, basketball, clay target shooting, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field and volleyball.
Each student-athlete will learn the importance of teamwork, team discipline, respect for the rules and others, appreciation of an active and healthy lifestyle and the joy of competition. Augusta Prep has one of the best athletics programs in the Augusta area with 59 State Championships, 62 State Runner-up Championships and 176 Region Championships in our six-decade school history. We welcome your participation in this tradition.
