Interscholastic athletics, offered to students in grades 5 through 12, are an important part of the educational program at Augusta Prep.
At the varsity level, Augusta Prep is a member of the Georgia Independent School Association and Region 4-AA where we compete in 19 varsity sports, to include baseball, basketball, clay target shooting, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field and volleyball.
Each student-athlete will learn the importance of teamwork, team discipline, respect for the rules and others, appreciation of an active and healthy lifestyle and the joy of competition. Augusta Prep has one of the best athletics programs in the Augusta area with 57 State Championships, 55 State Runner-up Championships and 160 Region Championships in our 60-year school history. Augusta Preparatory Day School
Augusta Preparatory Day School is an independent, college preparatory school serving children ages 2 through Grade 12 from the greater Augusta-Aiken area. Augusta Prep seeks to enroll a group of diverse students. We follow an open admission policy, whereby qualified candidates are admitted without regard to religion, race, nationality, economic background, or ethnic origin.
